Education is not just about learning—it is about empowerment. As a first-generation student at Harvard, I understand the challenges of navigating the college landscape without familial guidance. However, through perseverance and the invaluable mentorship of a Harvard alum, I not only succeeded but also discovered my passion for promoting multilingualism, multiculturalism, and international understanding. Since then, I have dedicated myself to creating opportunities for others, founding businesses and engaging in service to uplift underrepresented voices in society, both in the United States and internationally.
As an HAA Elected Director, I am committed to continuing this mission by advocating for increased engagement among alumni of color and fostering connections between current students and alumni. I envision initiatives that provide mentorship programs, networking opportunities, and resources tailored to the diverse needs of our community. By amplifying underrepresented voices, promoting inclusivity, and creating pathways for success, I aim to strengthen the Harvard alumni community and ensure that every member has the support they need to thrive. Together, we can build a more connected and empowered Harvard family.
